With much sadness The Woodford BeerFest committee have decided that it would be simpler and easier to each write a hefty cheque to our favoured charities than to spend all of our summers in hours of preparation and hassling you to buy tickets. We would be delighted if you would like to follow our lead and make a hefty donation yourself - follow link below.

We are already working on some alternative events that can raise more money for less effort. Watch this space.

The Virtual Woodford Beer Fest will still take place on September 6th. Please gather a close group of friends. Buy a selection of interesting beers and nibbles. Place a bucket in the middle of the room for donations. Provide your own toilets, insurance, transport, security, raffle and side events.

You may also wish to consider purchasing a VWBF Party Pack for £15 a pop. These will contain (exact contents to be confirmed):

• A £5 donation to the selected charities
• A VWBF Beer Glass
• A Selection of interesting beers
• A selection of nibbles
• A CD of local bands
• A raffle ticket

We are talking to major retailers to finalise the food and drink and to local media providers regarding the entertainment. If you would like your beer/food/music to be included please get in touch.
