I attended the Durnford PC meeting last night and raised the point that numerous drivers arrive at the junction outside The Old Chapel. Netton and don't know where to go.

It is of course dangerous and inconvenient to have a car stopped at a junction.

As you come down from High Post you are given the choice of Little Durnford/Salisbury to the left and Great Durnford/Woodfords to the right.

I would imagine that 99% of people unsure should turn right, however perhaps 25% of them turn left. Of these the majority realise they are wrong within 100m and then either turn around or in the case of large lorries reverse back to the junction. Not an ideal situation at all.

I was wondering if, the next time the sign was replaced, that a simple addition might remove this problem.
