The Big Day is fast approaching.  The annual grudge match between the two sides of The Woodford Valley, Ye Woedfords and Ye Doenfords. Bigger than the Liverpool derby.  Fiercer than City versus United. Even more bitter than the Old Firm match.  Five thousand years of history encapsulated in eighty minutes of blood, sweat and beers.

Meet in the historic Village Hall at 1330.  Strips provided.
Pre-match photographs at 1350.
Woodfords wear blood red claret and blue.  Durnfords play in blue blood blue.  Spectators are asked to refrain from assaulting the players or match officials.  Cheering, singing, chanting and booing are acceptable – and encouraged.
We will attempt to arrange a parallel game for the 5 to 12 year olds providing we can get the numbers.

Post-match entertainment and intensive post-match analysis at West Amesbury House, courtesy of the Crawshaw-Epworths.  Tea, coffee and mulled wine provided.   All welcome, but please bring a little food and drink.

Cost per adult player is £3 – under 18s £1.  No charge for spectators.
