20 over game. Everyone bowls 2 overs. Big boys ball. Everyone gets to face at least 6 balls. Retire at 25 but can come back again if needed.

We will arrange some kind of children's entertainment, and the plan is to organise a barbecue, to be shared with the GDCC. We will have a couple of grills making burgers and hotdogs (to be sold) and we suggest we then ask the players and families to contribute more widely.

To give everyone an opportunity to show their culinary dexterity, we suggest that this time the Durnfords bring savoury contributions (sandwiches, crisps, quiche, etc) and the Woodfords bring sweet (flapjacks, cakes, scones, etc). Please all bring your own drinks, rugs, etc.

• if you do not fancy putting bat to ball, but know that that is the basic idea (or a starter at least), whether you would be willing to umpire or score
• if you know of anyone not on this email who may like to play
• if you have a barbecue that could relatively easily be taken to the cricket pitch
• if you would be happy to flip burgers or roll sausages on a barbie
• whether you will be able to help coordinate the tea (managing the food when it arrives, not cooking it all)
