This year's match is timetabled to take place on Saturday 1st September at 2 pm at the Great Durnford cricket pitch. For those unfamiliar with the rules the match is intended for players that for reasons of age, sex, ability or agility are non-regular. Cheating will be rife, brilliance will be fleeting and the side of the valley that is home to the umpire - will win. At the end of June only two people had signed up for the match and it looks as if we will not be going ahead.

The Woodford Valley Gardening Club was set up around 15 years ago at the instigation of Canon John Reynolds.

The Club exists for anyone with an interest in gardening (from complete novice to the experienced "sage"!).

We welcome residents throughout the Woodford Valley and the Club is equally open to members and visitors from Salisbury and surrounding villages. Have enabled "books" and created a book for recording the names of the faces in Toddy's photo-book, "Summer in the Woodford Valley".

Have also created a book called Yellow Pages to enable businesses to create their own web pages and one called Home Pages for individuals and organisations.

Have started defining a few categories in preparation for advanced searches, private forums and other possibilities.

Have implemented an include image feature for all posts.

You can edit your page as often as you like and even create sub-pages.
