Just thought I would say hello to the Woodford community having moved into the valley back in June. My family and I have received nothing but a warm welcome from everyone we have met which has made our first few months here an absolute pleasure.

Strict deadline this month - no exceptions!

Anybody who is interested in playing cricket for Great Durnford however irregularly or however desperate we are is invited to join us for our end of season jolly.

In order to give everybody a chance to bat and bowl, we will play two short twenty over games with each player bowling 2 overs. A light tea will take place between the games and there will be a BBQ in the evening.

 

Game 1 - 2 to 4.30pm

Game 2 - 4.45 to 7pm 

Remember a new crew is collecting the waste paper and will arrive a lot earlier than the old crew. Make sure your waste paper is outside your house by 7am.

Our District Councillor, Sarah Dennis, will be in the Village Hall from 7-9pm.

If you have any queries - or would just like to meet Sarah - do come along.

The valley is part of the Lower Wyle and Woodford Valley District. Our District Councillor is currently Sarah Dennis of the Liberal Democrats.
